Where Rocky Mountain geoscientists connect and thrive
AAPG’s Rocky Mountain Section brings together geos in the Bakken Shale, as well as Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
Each year, the section holds its annual meeting to celebrate and connect geoscientists in the area. The meeting features nine awards given by the section that recognize outstanding achievements from area geoscientists.
